Plug it in like any normal algebra

4(11) - 4 < 43

44 - 4 < 43

40 < 43

Z = 11 is a solution.

WHENEVER SOLVING AN INEQUALITY TREAT IT LIKE REGULAR ALGEBRA, but whenever you MULTIPLY or DIVIDE both sides of an inequality by a NEGATIVE NUMBER, you must flip the inequality symbol.
