Find the area of a parallelogram with a height of 2x - 3 and a base of x + 4.

multiply the two as area is base times height.
[tex](2x - 3)(x + 4) \\ 2 {x}^{2} + 8x - 3x - 12 \\ 2 {x}^{2} + 5x - 12[/tex]
