The total distance to be covered was 52 miles. If he cycled at a constant rate of 13 miles per hour, how much time did Ricky take to complete the race?

13 miles per hour means he will cover 13 miles in 1 hour.

therefore in 2 hours, 26 miles.    3 hours, 39 miles.  4 hours, 52 miles.

Or time = distance/speed

time = 52/13 = 4 hours
