If you want to find the speed in MPH, or miles per hour, you simply need to find how many miles the object can travel in one hour.

Since you have the number at half an hour, all we need to do is multiply everything by two. That gives us eight fifths, or 8/5 (also known as 1 and 3/5) miles per hour as our answer.

Hope this helps! :)
